George is a creative minded and versatile Director of Photography based in Manchester, UK

George works as a DOP mainly in Short Films, Music Videos and Commercials, on both digital and 16mm.

His work has been screened at Oscar, BAFTA, and BIFA qualifying film festivals around the world.

He has won several awards, including ‘Best Cinematography for Short Film’ at the Manchester Film Festival for short comedy ‘Piece of Cake’ and the ‘Cinematography Award’ at the New York Shorts International Festival for ‘Red Sky At Night’.

His recent key projects include shooting a noir-horror Feature Film, a BBC Four programme, several BFI Funded Short Films, award winning Comedy Short films, and a 30 minute Comedy Pilot.

George regularly works shooting Corporate, Social, Music Videos, and various TV Documentary and News commissions.

As a passionate fan of cinema, George is looking for more narrative and fiction projects of various scales, with the aim of creating meaningful and impactful work, and to continue exploring the language of cinematography.
